Taitoa is a clasic L. Francis Herreshoff design 87# Neireia, she was build in NZ by Voss & brij for Architect Warren Johansen from Takapuna in 1976, she is build from NZ kauri cold molded, two skins 5/16 diogonal one fore and aft skin 1/2 rescourcinal glues and Copper & Bronze fasteings.
Taitoa has a new factory recondition engine.
She is a Seaworthy boat,she been around the World, Cape Horn Panama Canal, raced twice Melbourne to Osaka. She been refitted in 2003 & 2004 with a new sprung laid Teak Deck etc. and maintained since then.
She is on a save Mooring one Hour south of Hobart, the Mooring can be rented
