History

The dinghy was built in the early 1900's by the famous Percival George COVERDALE at Hobart in Tasmania. It was later owned by a neighbour of the current owner, Bruce SAULT (83 years old). Bruce is carpenter by trade and has built two boats. His neighbour lent Bruce the dinghy to use as a tender for his larger vessel. During that time Bruce restored the dinghy and after some time purchased it. The last 60 years history of the boat is known by Bruce.

The boat is constructed of King Billy pine with sheoak knees. It is a delight to row and could easily be set up to sail. It has a mast (not original), a center board box, self draining plugs in the hull and a huon pine tiller and rudder. It has a custom steel trailer and has been stored under cover when not in use. The boat is listed for sale for a new owner to love and cheerish for another 60 years
