History

Henry II was discovered rotting in a backyard: probably retired after fifty to sixty years of loyal service.

Little is known about the boatís history. Heís typical of a Tasmanian cray dinghy used by professional fisherman in the 1950ís.

Iím told he has the appearance of a Fazakerly designed and built dinghy. Henry IIís restoration was typicalóreplace a couple of planks and a few frames. Not. $18000 later heís a new man!

Actually eight of the original planks are the only thing of the original boat remaining.

However, his shape and soul live on thanks to the remarkable work of Ned Trewartha. (A Tassie boat builder.)

Race Record

No, Henry II does not race.
