Taitoa is a classic L. Francis Herreshoff Design # 87 Nereia she was build in New Zealand by Voss & Brij for Architect Warren Johansen from Takapuna in 1976. She is build from NZ Kauri cold molded, two skins diogonal and one for and aft skin rescourcinal glues and copperand Bronze fastings. She is a Seaworthy boat, she been around the World, Cape Horn, Panama Canal, raced twice Melbourne to Osaka, She been refitted in 2003 & 2004 with a new sprung laid Teak Deck etc.and maintained since
