History |
Early history unknown. David Johnson owned and lived aboard in Middle Harbour in late 70s-early 80s. Sailed engineless. Re-rigged with alloy sparred gaff topsail sloop rig early 1980s; subsequently won SASC gaffers regatta. Raced successfully in mixed fleet racing on Middle Harbour Later owned by Tony Rolf, who fitted engine and conveted rig to gaff cutter. Purchased through Middle Harbour slipway and brokerage in 1992 by Andy Bullock; participated in wooden boat festival at Balmain, and in Balmain regatta, before sailing north to Coffs Harbour and then Yamba in January 1993. Restoration and refurbishment carried at Coffs Harbour and on Hickey Island, Yamba. Partipated in Yamba wooden boat shows, and local cruising. |
